Product Feed Submission
Product Feed Submission is the most cost effective way to get products listed in the shopping comparison search engines. If you are a product company and are looking for an affordable way to sell more products, then Google product Search is exactly what you have been looking for. It is the place where product companies can submit and list their products directly with Google’s shopping search engine. Each shopping comparison site accepts data feeds in slightly different formats, using a slightly different naming convention and specification, but they typically include file header, URL, click-through URL, product title, product description, product category, price, model number, UPC, manufacturer name and other fields. Optimizing the data feed before it is uploaded is one of the most important factors in getting results in shopping comparison sites. So before uploading any such feed make sure to use relevant keyword, product titles and descriptions. Proper product optimization increases the chance that they are being listed at the top of the search results.
Google product Search is a free service offered by Google that provides users with a search feature to search for products and be directed to the website(s) where they can make actual purchase. It is one of the best ways to increase product sales. You can submit your product to Google product search either by using a bulk upload at a time or by having an automated product feed submitted three times a week, these will lessen the burden to manage the uploads all on your own. The best part of the automated feed is that once you have done a setup the customers will be able to find your items on Google product search within 24 hrs and as you add new products to your website, they are automatically added to Google product search. Product data Feed is nothing else than just writing an automation script that extracts and captures all products information from a web site’s product database and formats the product information into the require feed format. Apart from Google shopping search engine there are many such comparison sites who simplify the life of bargain hunters on the web by providing various information about product types, product features and pricing comparison at one location. Product Feed can be submitted to all such search engine in the similar way as we used to submit for Google product search. Though the Google product searches are totally free but some of shopping comparison search engines charge for their services.
